Shop Cloud
Shop Cloud is the cloud side of WPI Driveline Shop Management System: a private Supabase project that holds one shop’s shared records, logins and files and runs its server functions.
It’s also required for every outside service on this page except the built-in NHTSA data. Their keys are stored and used on your Shop Cloud server, and a signed-in shop device records what comes back: payments, approvals and check-ins. A device checks about every minute while it’s open.
Without Shop Cloud
One device works on its own. Repair orders, inspections on the counter tablet, the board, the tech clock, parts, reports and the vehicle data all work, and nothing is shared.

Test first
Stripe test mode and a simulated reader, Smartcar’s Simulated mode with test vehicles, and the QuickBooks sandbox company let you try each connection before it touches real money or cars.
When the test runs look right, switch to your live keys.
