Yes. Data lives in that browser until you use Shop Cloud. Clearing browser data erases it, so export a backup file from Settings now and then.
No. OEM and paid repair information stays separate; the app links to OEM portals, and those subscriptions are your own. The built-in vehicle database, VIN decoder and service library help with everyday lookups: vehicle configurations, generated system diagrams, 725 generic trouble codes and shop calculators.
