Install WPI Driveline Shop Management System from the browser. It opens full screen like an app, and each device keeps working when the Wi-Fi in the back bay doesn’t.
On a device with no saved shop, the app opens Main Street Auto Service, a made-up sample shop. No sign-up.

Install
Install it in a minute
Open the app in the browser on each device and add it to the Home Screen or the dock. From then on it opens full screen, with its own icon. With Shop Cloud, sign in once on each device and the shop’s data loads.
On iPhone and iPad
Open the app in Safari
Use the same address on every device in the shop.
Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen
Share is the square with the arrow. The icon lands on the Home Screen and opens full screen, without Safari’s bars.

With Shop Cloud, sign in once and your shop’s data loads onto that iPhone or iPad. Without it, each device keeps its own copy. To move the records, export a backup in Settings → Data and import it on the other device.
On Android
Open the app in Chrome
Use the same address as the counter and the other devices.
Choose Install app
Open the menu (⋮) and choose Install app, or Add to Home screen. It gets its own icon and opens full screen.

With Shop Cloud, sign in once and your shop’s data loads onto the phone or tablet. Without it, each device keeps its own copy. To move the records, export a backup in Settings → Data and import it on the other device.
On a Mac or PC
Open the app in your browser
On the counter PC, the office Mac or a laptop.
Use the Install option
In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon in the address bar, or the Install the app button in Settings → General → Mobile & desktop app when your browser offers it. In Safari on a Mac, choose File → Add to Dock.
Open it like any program
It runs in its own window with its own icon. With Shop Cloud, sign in once and your shop’s data loads.
It isn’t an App Store or Google Play app, so there’s nothing to download from a store. A notice appears when a newer version is published. Install from the app, not from this website.
On iPhone and iPad
Made for iPhone, not squeezed onto it
On a phone the layout changes, not just the size. Navigation moves to the bottom, forms stay above the keyboard, and nothing hides under the notch.

A bottom tab bar, and sheets with a grabber that close with a swipe down.
Keyboard and safe areas
Keyboard-aware screens, no zoom on inputs, and safe-area spacing around the notch and the home bar.

Links and PDFs go out through the system share sheet: Save to Files, Print, Mail, Messages, AirDrop.

Offline-first
Works with no connection
Each device keeps the shop’s records, so it opens and works offline, and vehicle data is saved as you use it. Edits made offline survive reloads.
With Shop Cloud:
- The counter, bay tablets and your phone update live.
- Edits made offline are sent when the device reconnects.
- Photos from other devices download the first time you open them.
- Two edits to the same record merge field by field, and lines added to the same RO on two devices are both kept.
- RO and PO numbers created offline are renumbered the same way everywhere.
With Shop Cloud, the iPad’s edits and the counter’s edit end up on the same repair order.

Questions
App questions
Is it in the App Store?
No. It installs from the browser with Add to Home Screen or Install app, so there’s no store listing. A notice appears in the app when a newer version is published.
Which browsers?
A current Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox. Dictation needs a browser with speech recognition: Chrome, Edge or Safari. If your browser has no Install option, the app still runs in a normal tab.
Does the barcode scanner work on iPhone?
Yes, with a decoder bundled for Safari. The camera reads part barcodes and VIN barcodes, and a photo of the barcode or typing the code works too.
What happens if we lose internet?
Keep working. Each device has the shop’s records, and edits made offline stay on the device. With Shop Cloud, they sync to the other devices when it reconnects.
