Estimates, repair orders & invoices
One record from estimate to paid receipt.
Labor, parts, fees and sublet on one repair order, priced the same way every time, with the profit on each job in plain sight. Real PDF estimates, work orders, invoices and receipts come straight out of it.

Sound familiar?
Where margin slips
- Two advisors, two prices for the same brake job.
- Shop supplies forgotten. Tax on labor guessed.
- You find out a job lost money at month end.
- Comebacks cost money nobody tracks.
Price it once. See the profit every time.
Set the math once and it's applied every time, and the RO shows the job's profit before the estimate goes out.
Pricing
Priced the way your shop prices
Your rates, your parts matrix and your menu of canned jobs, set once in Settings and used on every estimate.
Every kind of line
Labor, part, fee and sublet lines. Shop supplies as a percent of labor with a dollar cap. Discounts in % or $, taken off before tax. Sales tax that can include labor, and tax-exempt customers.
Canned jobs
A service menu with categories and menu hours. Search it and add a job to the RO, or build a blank service line by line. The same canned jobs feed online booking and fleet PM plans.
A parts markup matrix
Sell price = cost × (1 + markup), with tiers by unit cost. A small part carries a bigger markup than a big one, and nobody does the math at the counter.
Each service on its own terms
Approve or decline each service on its own, with its own cause and correction and its own assigned tech. The customer's concern and the promised time sit on the RO.
Your rates
Shop labor rate, default tech cost per hour, sales tax and shop supplies, set once. Each location can override its labor rate and sales tax.
Your terms on paper
Your warranty text and your estimate and invoice terms print at the bottom of every document.
Job profitability
Know the profit before you say yes
On a tablet or computer, every service shows GP $, GP % and GP per labor hour after parts, sublet and the assigned tech's pay.
The profit meter on the RO adds it up for the whole job on any device and marks your GP target. Under the target, the figures show amber or red, so a thin estimate gets a second look before it goes out.
Labor & parts memory
Add a job and the RO shows how often your shop has done it, the hours it usually took and the parts that went in. It looks at the same model first, then the same make, then any vehicle. One tap applies the hours or adds the parts with last cost and vendor.
On the RO, GP uses each tech's pay rate, or your default tech cost per hour when no tech or rate is set. Reports figure GP with your default tech cost per hour. You set the GP target with your shop goals in Reports.
On every RO
The details that save the margin
The small things that leak money between the estimate and the receipt, kept on the same record.
Comebacks you can see
Mark an RO as a comeback and it links back to the original RO and the tech who did the work. The comebacks and no-charge report adds them up by tech.
Any service can be no charge as shop warranty, comeback or goodwill. The customer pays nothing for it, and its cost still counts against the job's profit.
Core charges that come back
Put a core charge on a part line and it's tracked from owed to returned to credited.
Parts → Cores lists every core still waiting to go back, so a battery core in the back room doesn't turn into money you never see again.
Parts, inventory & tiresHow they're getting around
Each RO records how the customer gets around while you have the car: waiting, drop-off, shuttle ride, rental car or a loaner.
A loaner is checked out and back in with odometer and fuel and a signed agreement, so a loaner that comes back low is on the record.
Real PDFs from the RO
Estimates, work orders, invoices and receipts are real PDFs, built in the browser from the RO. Print them or download them. On an iPhone or iPad the PDF goes to the share sheet for Mail, Messages or Files.
Email from your shop's own address attaches the PDF for you. The AI assistant and Auto Diagnosis open right from the RO.
Email from your shop's address uses Shop Cloud with your own Resend account. The AI assistant uses Shop Cloud with your shop's own Anthropic account.
How it flows
From estimate to paid receipt
In WPI Driveline Shop Management System, one repair order carries the job the whole way. Nothing is retyped between the estimate, the work order and the invoice.

FAQ
Repair order questions
Can I set my own markup tiers?
Yes, by unit cost. Each tier has its own markup, and a part's sell price is its cost × (1 + markup).
Tax-exempt fleets and labor tax?
Both supported. Mark a business account tax exempt with its tax ID, and turn on tax on labor if your state taxes it.
How is GP figured?
On the repair order, after parts, sublet and the assigned tech's pay. Labor cost uses that tech's pay rate, or your default tech cost per hour when no tech is set. Reports figure GP with your default tech cost per hour.
Can each location have its own rates?
Yes, labor rate and sales tax. Estimates and invoices also use that location's own details.
Do customers see my margins?
No. Estimates, invoices and the customer's report show prices, not your costs or GP.
