Check-in: the key drop opens the repair order
Customers request a time from your booking page, and it only offers times you have open. You accept the request, and the customer and vehicle are added or matched.
After hours, they scan the QR code on the key-drop sign, enter their details and concern, scan the VIN barcode, note the key tag, and sign a diagnosis authorization up to your dollar limit.
The repair order opens on your shop devices as soon as one is signed in and open. It's matched to the customer and vehicle and attached to today's appointment.

Inspect and approve: show them what you found
The tech works the 37-point inspection on a phone or tablet: ratings, brake pads in millimeters and tread in 32nds on color gauges, and photos with arrows and circles drawn on.
Text or email the report link. The customer approves or declines each service with a typed name and signature. The decision is applied to the RO within a minute on any signed-in shop device that's open.
- Every authorization is logged: who, how, when, which services and the amount.
- The report never shows your costs, margins, tech pay or internal notes.
Texting from your shop number uses Shop Cloud and your Twilio account; without them the link goes out from your device's Messages app. Online approvals use Shop Cloud.

In the bay: everyone can see where the car is
Every open repair order sits on the workflow board: Estimate, Approved, In Progress, Waiting on Parts, Ready for Pickup.
When the tech taps Start on the time clock, they're clocked in and the RO moves to In Progress.
Parts still on order show on the card, and every move has Undo.
Stage changes are time-stamped. With Shop Cloud they update the customer's live status page.

Stop 4 · Payment
Payment: the exact balance, by text or at the counter
A real PDF invoice is built in the browser. Text a pay link for the exact balance (a new link voids the old one), or press Take payment and the counter reader shows the amount.
The payment posts to the RO on your signed-in shop devices, with the card brand, last four and Stripe's fee, and the RO closes when it's paid in full.
Money goes straight to your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard rates. Online payments use Shop Cloud.

Follow-up: the next visit lines itself up
Follow-up lists build themselves from your own history:
- Oil-service reminders, by time or by projected mileage since the last oil service.
- Declined work that hasn't been done since.
- Review requests after closed visits.
- Customers you haven't seen in a while.
Your team sends them in one pass from your business number or email, or one tap at a time. Turn on automatic appointment confirmations and day-before reminders, and the server sends them from your Twilio number even when no device is open.
Sending in one pass and the automatic messages use Shop Cloud with Twilio or Resend. Automatic confirmations and reminders are off until you turn them on.

Your customers see your shop's name
Customers never download an app, and there's no account to set up. Booking, self check-in, the inspection report and approvals, the live status page, the pay page and the fleet portal all open on any phone.
Each one leads with your shop's name and ends with a small "Powered by WPI Driveline Shop Management System" line. None of them show your costs, margins or internal notes.

Bring your shop with you.
Import any CSV export or pasted spreadsheet of customers and vehicles, or of parts inventory. Column names used by common shop systems are recognized automatically, and you confirm every match in a preview before anything is saved. Duplicates are caught by phone, email, VIN and part number.
For example, exports from Shopmonkey, Tekmetric, Mitchell 1, ALLDATA Manage, Shop-Ware, NAPA TRACS, RO Writer, QuickBooks, Excel or Google Sheets.

What does it cost?
We don't publish prices. Tell us about your shop in a demo request, and ask how Shop Cloud is set up and billed for you. Services you connect (Stripe, Twilio, Resend, Anthropic, Smartcar, Intuit) bill your shop directly at their own rates.
Is it in the App Store?
No. It installs from the browser on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac or PC and opens full screen with its own icon.
Can I look around before talking to anyone?
Yes. Try the sample shop; it runs in your browser.
Does it work without internet?
Yes, on each device. Sharing between devices, customer links and outside services (except the built-in NHTSA data) use Shop Cloud.
Do I need Twilio and Stripe?
No. Without them, texts open in your device's Messages app and are still logged, and you record payments by hand.
Can I bring my data?
Customers, vehicles and parts, from a CSV. Past repair orders aren't imported.
